Thanksgiving weekend

This past Thursday, when most of you were stuffing your bellies with turkey and pie, I stared my weekend travels. Natalie' s (my roommate) mom and aunt (Amy and Molly) came to Dublin and the four of us rented a car and hit the road. We were gone from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning and we got back to Dublin just in time for Natalie and I to take our Biochemistry exam, which went really well! We started out by traveling to Belfast, which is in Northern Ireland and is a part of the UK. From there we went to the Giant's Causeway (one of the natural wonders of the world), crossed a rope bridge hung high to cross from one cliff to another, drove through beautiful mountain ranges, avoided hitting sheep and cows that frequent the road, went to little shops in little villages, played lots of hearts and euchre (two of my favourites!), almost sunk the car at night on tinny little back roads, due to the enormous amount of flooding that has occurred here (we had to back track 3 or 4 times because the water in the road was so high), and overall we just enjoyed ourselves and the absolutely beautiful landscape around us. It was fun to see all of the things that Amy and Molly thought were weird or different about Ireland, because everything here seems so normal to me now!
I only have one week of school left and just over a week before I have to say goodbye to Dublin. Time has flown bye, it is hard to believe I have been here for almost 11 weeks! But I am so excited for the next month and all of my future travels. Unfortunately my last week here is going to have to be spent finishing papers and presentations and studying for my stat and biochem exams and packing up all of my stuff. I am excited though because my good friend Ashley is coming to Dublin on the 12th and on the 14th she is going to start my Christmas break travels with me! Before I go I will post some ramblings about my thoughts on my past weeks here in Dublin and maybe some things that I like here or in The States better. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
(the pictures below are in oppsite order of how I saw them)

A beautiful stained glass window in a Cathedral we stopped at.
Just plain breathtaking
yet more beauty
One of the mornings was really foggy, but it turned out to be really lovely anyway.
This was taken at the Giant's Causeway.....the pictures don't do it justice. It was so bizarre, but brilliant.

There are lots of rainbows here and we saw many last weekend.
In Belfast we took a ride on the 'Belfast Wheel'
